Sound Character and Orchestral Textures

The instrument is built on acoustic recordings rather than synthesized tones. Sonuscore recorded 37 instrument patches, with up to six round robins and up to five dynamic layers per patch, so repeated notes avoid sounding identical.

Per the developer, the engine folds orchestral instruments into new and complex characters. Presets range from intimate, solo-style textures to large, grand soundscapes, and the set includes ancient and exotic palettes alongside more standard ensemble sounds.

Controls and Workflow

Five core parameters, Dynamic, Movement, Flow, Octaves and Speed, can be controlled separately for both instrument layers and tied to the mod wheel. This makes it possible to move a texture from sparse to dense while playing.

The Attack Volume, Seed, Note Select, Spread, Gain and Pan controls let you shape how each note triggers, how particles are distributed in the stereo field and the level of each emitter. The Sustain Pedal is supported.
