Four-Band Transient Shaping and Detection Control
THORN splits processing across four independent bands, so the low end, mid range and top end can each be shaped on their own. This makes it practical to add weight to a kick while leaving the high frequencies of a hi-hat untouched.
The tuneable detection engine is the core of the plugin. Four dedicated parameters control how the envelope follower reads the signal. Peak adjusts the initial transient sensitivity. Body sets how much weight and sustain trigger the shaper. Gating helps isolate key hits and reduces background bleed triggering transients. Soft smooths harsh peaks for a more organic dynamic response.
