Tekno Keyz focuses on the sound of 90s techno-pop. The developer says its presets and multisample maps are inspired by acts such as Technotronic, 2 Unlimited, Snap, La Boutche, Dr. Alban and KLF. Sound Character and Library Content

The factory library includes over 200 presets, sorted into categories such as anthem leads, basses, stabs, keys, organs, pads, risers and world sounds. The multisample maps cover bass, stab, dance organ, drum kit, guitar, keys, orchestral, synth and vocal sources.

Because the two multisample engines, A and B, can be layered or split with automatic MIDI assignment, you can combine sources in a single patch or separate a bass from a lead across the keyboard.

Synthesis, Arpeggiator and Workflow

Each engine has ADSR envelopes for amp, filter and pitch, plus three LFOs for filter, volume and pitch that can sync to tempo. The ladder filter offers low-pass, high-pass and band-pass modes at 12 or 24 dB per octave.

The 32-step arpeggiator syncs to tempo and can modulate velocity, note length and pitch per step. You can save your own patterns or load factory ones. Library content can be moved to any internal or external drive and reconnected from the settings icon, and every control can be MIDI mapped with a right-click.
