Low and High Brass Sections for Layered Brass Parts

BRAAASS splits its sound into two sections. Low Brass covers tubas and bass trombones, while High Brass covers trumpets and horns. You can control each section separately and use the Crossfade slider to move between them.

Each layer has built-in Character and Motion FX for adjusting its tone and movement. This makes it possible to build a brass part that sits low and heavy, bright and forward, or a mix of both.

Styles, Phrases and Finisher Sound Design

The instrument offers 78 playing styles. Each style includes six phrases and four one-shot additions, with patterns ranging from swelling crescendos to rhythmic accents. The phrase-based approach gives you ready-made musical material to build from.

The Finisher section has more than 250 presets. Some add subtle reverb and delay for a cinematic feel, while others use experimental effects to turn traditional brass into new textures.
