SSL G3 MultiBusComp: 3-Band Glue Compressor Plugin by Solid State Logic

The G3 MultiBusComp splits the signal into three bands and applies SSL "glue" compression to each one, so dynamics can be shaped in the low, mid and high ranges separately.

Each band includes a per-band drive control based on the ‘4K’ drive circuit. Solid State Logic presents this as a way to add warmth and character while keeping dynamic control of the signal.

Parameter linking lets you apply inverse changes to thresholds and make-up gains at the same time, which keeps the overall level balance easier to manage when you adjust one band.

The band graph view lets you set thresholds and frequency crossovers visually, so you can see how each band is divided and processed.

Sidechain filters can be unlinked from the band crossovers. Per-band bell filters can accentuate or reduce response at chosen frequencies, and external sidechaining can drive a band from another frequency range or a separate signal.

Mutually exclusive soloing on each band and each band's sidechain input lets you hear a single band in isolation before you make decisions in the mix.
