Drum Kit Sounds and Sample Selection

The kit draws on a wide range of named drums, including a Tama ArtStar II kick at 24x16 and a set of Tama ArtStar II toms from 10x10 to 18x16. The snare section offers six options, among them a Ludwig 1968 Supraphonic and a Premier Olympic, so you can pick a snare that suits the tone you need.

The cymbal list is long, with hi-hats, rides, crashes, chinas and splashes from several brands. Ugritone also includes more than 100 one-shot samples, which gives room to build your own variations from the core sounds.

Presets for Metal Drum Styles

Seven presets cover different approaches, from a 1983 Metal kit and an Aggro Heavy Metal kit to a Phat Roadie kit and a Speed Metal Default. Ugritone created these as a starting point for each genre and style, so you can audition them quickly and adjust from there.
