How DaZuul Handles Sibilance
Ugritone designed DaZuul to avoid removing the full sibilant signal. The plugin filters the signal and lowers the volume of the high frequencies when sibilance occurs, rather than relying on compression.
The developer's reasoning is that the lower frequencies in a sibilant sound still carry useful content and do not cause listener fatigue. Keeping them intact is meant to make the result sound more natural.
The included Cutoff Amplitude Adjustment and Detector Filtering controls shape how the plugin responds to incoming sibilance.
