Sound Design and Spatial Movement
Sound Particles describes SkyDust as a spatial synthesizer, so spatial control is part of the sound design rather than an add-on. Each oscillator can have its own spatial settings, starting position and movement. Spatial envelope generators and spatial LFOs control azimuth and elevation, so a note can travel from one part of the space to another over its life.
The synth offers 8 oscillators per voice, with subtractive, FM or hybrid routing. Each oscillator can have its own filter, EG and LFO, and pitch effects are controlled by a pitch EG and LFOs.
The stereo edition outputs stereo and binaural audio. Multichannel and Ambisonics output is part of the full SkyDust 3D version, not this listing.
