Sound and Tone Shaping

The plugin uses an adjustable fuzz control for extra bite. Tone shaping runs from a DI signal to three separate amplifiers, each with its own overdrive and fuzz knobs. A Character control gives quick access to a range of sounds, and an octave control, a simple EQ and a dynamics section complete the chain.

UJAM says the sounds are based on a hand-picked, modified vintage bass guitar, amps, a fuzz box and an octave guitar.

Player Mode and Instrument Mode

Player Mode lets you choose from 60 styles and 1380 phrases with your MIDI controller. Phrases follow the key or chord you play. Instrument Mode maps the whole ROWDY fretboard for playing like a traditional sampler, with support for dead notes, full stops and slides.

UJAM also describes a frustration-free interface intended to make basslines easy to build regardless of production experience.
