Shaping Rainfall Intensity, Density and Environment
RAIN is built around controls for the character of the rain itself. You can adjust intensity and density to move from occasional single droplets to heavy downpours. Wetness and distance settings change how close and how saturated the rain sounds.
The environment is set separately. You choose the type of surface the rain falls on, adjust the spaciousness of the scene, and layer in pre-designed environment sounds. Boom states that the plugin includes over 50 of these layers.
The x/y controls let you adjust rainfall and environment together, which is useful when a scene needs quick changes rather than detailed programming.
