Sound Design and Modeled Analog Character
KORG Component Modeling Technology is used to model the oscillators, filters, envelopes and LFOs with their circuit characteristics. The filters and envelopes interact in ways specific to this design, which the developer describes as a source of expressive tone shaping.
Voice Variation modeling gives each voice its own slight differences, so chords and layered patches sound less uniform than a typical digital poly. The developer says the result is rich, organic sound.
