Layering and Modular Sound Design in Panacea

Each of the eight instruments has its own tonal character, so you can blend them or double a melody across two sounds. Panacea uses a modular four-layer interface, which lets you build patches by stacking instruments rather than loading one sound at a time.

The Kontakt controls cover swell, attack, release, offset, vibrato, filter, coarse and fine pitch, articulation switching, cross-fading and layering. Every control is automation-ready, so you can shape the sound over the course of a track.

LFO, Filters and Arpeggiator Controls

The adaptable LFO system offers selectable shape, modulation target, speed, intensity, tempo sync and fade-in time. Twelve lowpass, high-pass and FX filters can be assigned to modulation sources including velocity, mod wheel, expression, aftertouch, key position and step-sequencer table control.

The customizable arpeggiator provides a velocity table and control over direction, timing, swing, randomization and duration. A key and scale lock keeps notes within common scales, which helps with melodic writing and live play.
