Lo-Fi Character and Core Controls
The central Lo-Fi control combines two submodules, Redux and Space, with its own processors. Redux adds digital retro coloration through filtering and bit reduction. Turning the control in either direction pushes the sound warmer or cooler. Space works with a network of chorus effects. At its center setting it delivers a retro multi-chorus chain. Turning it counterclockwise gives a more traditional multi-chorus sound, and turning it the other way degrades the signal using micro delays.
Wash and Build add spatial and dynamic effects. Wash uses filters, stereo expanders and diffusion generators to widen the sound, and its Wash Character dial changes width and reflection values. Build creates a sense of tension that peaks when the fader is pushed hard, with its own Build Character dial for fine-tuning.
