Sound Design and Analog Character

Miniverse focuses on the analog sound of its original instrument. Its three oscillators offer triangle, sawtooth-triangular, ramp sawtooth, square, wide rectangular and narrow rectangular waveforms, giving a wide range of starting points for leads, basses and pads.

The classic four-pole, 24dB/octave ladder filter shapes the tone, and the Feedback and Sidechain function replicates the original instrument's External Input with overdrive characteristics modeled on the hardware. Voice modes run from monophonic up to 1, 2, 4, 8 or 16 voices, so the same patch can work as a mono bass or a polyphonic pad.

Workflow, Presets and MIDI Control

Miniverse includes more than 200 factory presets created by sound designers, covering the kinds of sounds the synth is known for. Presets can be loaded as a starting point and edited from there.

All controls support MIDI learn and DAW automation. You can save MIDI controller mappings to individual presets, globally, or both. MPE support lets MPE-compatible controllers drive expressive performances, and the user-adjustable oversampling control lets you trade CPU load for audio quality.
