Classic Sound with Modern Additions

Cherry Audio says the DCO-106 models every aspect of its source synth in exact detail. The developer describes the result as a faithful recreation of the original sonic character.

On top of that core, the plugin adds a stereo chorus, three reverb modes built on a new proprietary reverb algorithm, and a full-featured delay section with tempo sync. These effects sit in the signal path alongside the synth engine, so you can shape a patch without reaching for external processing.

Controls, Modulation and Performance

The LFO section has been expanded to six waveforms with tempo sync. Unison detune is available for thick lead and bass sounds, and multiple voice assign modes let you choose how notes are distributed across the 16 voices.

A single-key chord memory mode is included for playing chords from one key. The plugin supports MPE, along with full MIDI control and full DAW automation for all of its controls. It is also fully compatible with original 106 SysEx commands.
