01Overview

MFX Modulations bundles two modulation effects into one package: the Multi Phaser and the Ensembles Ensemble chorus. Both are ported from the developer's MFX multi-effect module and pedal, and use enhanced DSP code from the MFX hardware. The plugins share a simplified interface that the developer describes as clean and expanded. Together they cover phasing, flanging, chorus and ensemble effects, with the Ensemble also offering a built-in digital pitch shifter.

Multi Phaser: Phasing and Flanging Controls

The Multi Phaser is a multi-stage phaser with numerous editable parameters. Its notch filter count and modulation speed and shape let you move between subtle phase shifting for timbral change and more pronounced classic phasing and flanging effects.

Individual dry and wet controls let you blend the processed signal with the original, which is useful for keeping the core of a sound while adding movement, or for doubling effects.

Ensembles Ensemble: Chorus and Pitch Shifting

The Ensembles Ensemble offers a collection of chorus and ensemble effects based on circuits from the 1970s and 1980s. Modulation can run free or sync to clock, and the modulation waveform shape is adjustable.

Stereo width and chorus depth or intensity are both adjustable. The built-in digital pitch shifter takes the effect beyond traditional chorus circuits.
