Multi-Band Compression Controls and Sound Shaping
Each MC2000 plugin gives you control over output make-up gain, threshold, compression ratio, attack and release. Non-standard Knee and BITE controls are included, which the developer says allow unusual articulation of compression characteristics.
Multiple peak detection circuit types are available. The developer describes these as offering flexibility that would otherwise require owning several compression units.
The crossover filters are steep 24 dB per octave designs, intended to limit signal leakage into adjacent compression bands. Multi-band control linking and adjustable crossovers let you set how the bands interact and where they split.
