Mastering Console V2 Upgrade from V1: Analog-Style Mastering Plugin by Safari Audio

Low and High cut input filters clean up the extremes of the signal before processing. Safari Audio describes a Tube Sat stage with a Clean to Hot range and its own saturation filter, so saturation can be focused on a chosen part of the spectrum.

The chain also includes a Bax EQ with broad shelves at 40 Hz and 12 kHz for tilt-style tonal adjustment, plus an M-S Matrix for balancing the Mid and Side signal. A built-in De-Esser offers Amount and Frequency controls with its own gain-reduction meter.

The output stage uses a true-peak limiter with its own input drive and metering. A VU pair with IN, GR and OUT switching shows what the chain is doing at each point.

Smart Gain and Link Gain are included for level matching, and an A/B compare function lets you switch between settings. A short-term LUFS readout and a new oversampling algorithm are part of the V2 update.
