Mandolin v1.5 focuses on a natural, organic mandolin sound. The instrument offers two plucking articulations: Plucked 1 is cleaner and more detailed, while Plucked 2 is warmer and more intimate, with emphasis on the course strings. A strumming engine plays patterns based on the keys you press, and version 1.5 adds presets, an arpeggiator and new effects.
The Plucked 1 articulation sounds clean and detailed, while Plucked 2 sounds more intimate and warm, with a focus on the course string sound. Plucked 1 also includes a tremolo feature designed for the typical tremolo style of the mandolin, which Cinematique Instruments describes as powerful and organic.

The strumming engine performs patterns based on the keys you press. To use it, draw a pattern in the sequencer and switch between dead notes and open strokes. To strum manually, select the strummed articulation and play the key switches.
