Additive Synthesis with a Modular Approach
Loom II combines simple waveforms into complex sounds using 34 editable modules. Each module handles a specific task, such as Octaver, Second Tone, Moving Filter, Noise or Linear Lowpass. The modules can be arranged across up to 10 cells, and the framework delivers up to 512 harmonic partials per patch.
Each module has its own spectrum window, which shows how that module affects the individual harmonics. The upgrade adds four new modules: 5-Sines for organ and sine-style tones, Discrete Adder for percussive synth sounds, Hype for high and low emphasis, and Double Wave for more advanced patterns.
