Sound Design: Oscillators, Filters and Modulation
Mini D's oscillator section includes 8 modeled waveforms, and each oscillator can be assigned as a modulation source. Traditional waveforms span pitch ranges from 32' to 2'.
The Ladder filter is modeled on the original design, with particular attention paid to its feedback section. The filter can be keyed to start on note-on or driven by a second modulation source, so sounds can sweep and morph over time. The Modern filter is a second option, styled after more recent feedback filters.
The LFO section offers 19 shapes, including ramps, sine, square, triangle, random and step patterns.
