Drum Kits, Mix Presets and the Dust Control

LEGEND includes five drum kits, named GRAND, TIGHT, WILD, THICK and LOOSE, each covering a different range of 70s flavor. The Dust slider moves between historic miking techniques, from close mics on deadened drum heads to more distant placements. Higher Dust values add a sense of wear to the kit.

The six Mix Presets give control over the sound with a small number of parameters. Underneath, they run a mixing console with channel strips, busses and insert processors. The Master section adds reverb selection, a Color control and a Maximizer.

Styles, MIDI Phrases and Workflow

The plugin contains 30 Styles, each with 23 pre-designed MIDI patterns, for a total of 690 playable phrases. Phrases can be dragged into a DAW or sent as direct MIDI output for custom editing.

Each instrument in the drummer has its own channel mixer, so individual parts can be shaped separately. The phrases are ready for out-of-the-box use and for further tweaking.
