Drum Sound and Mix Control

LEGEND offers five drum kits named GRAND, TIGHT, WILD, THICK and LOOSE, each giving a different take on 70s drum tone. The Dust fader moves between historic miking techniques and mic proximity, and higher values add a sense of wear to the kit.

The Mix Presets section gives you direct control over the sound with a small number of parameters. Behind those controls is a mixing console with channel strips, busses and insert processors. The Master section adds a selectable reverb, a Color control and a Maximizer to finish the mix.

MIDI Phrases and Workflow

The 690 MIDI phrases can be dragged directly into your DAW or sent out as MIDI, so you can edit patterns and route them to other instruments. Each instrument in the virtual drummer has its own channel mixer for adjusting individual parts.

The phrases are ready for out-of-the-box use and also work as a starting point for custom grooves.

What formats does LEGEND support?

LEGEND is available in VST3, VST2, AU and AAX formats, and all of them are 64-bit only.

Which operating systems can run LEGEND?

LEGEND runs on Windows 10 and Windows 11, and on macOS Catalina (10.15) through macOS Sonoma (14). Earlier macOS versions may work but are not supported by UJAM.

What do I need to use LEGEND?

The minimum requirements are 8 GB of RAM, 4.73 GB of free disk space, a 1280x768 display and an internet connection. UJAM recommends an SSD if you move the .blob file to an external drive to prevent dropouts.

How is LEGEND installed and authorized?

LEGEND can be installed through the UJAM App or with a downloadable installer file. Authorization can be done quickly through the UJAM App or by entering your email and password in the plug-in.
