Six Modules and Character Models in Ignition
The core of Ignition is its six processing modules. Dynamics offers seven character modes for shaping punch, glue and energy. Saturate provides seven saturation types for adding warmth or crunch. Clipper includes six algorithms for controlling peaks, from aggressive to gentle. The EQ module uses a set of production-oriented curves for the low and high ends, while Clean Up smooths harshness and uneven peaks across the spectrum. The Transient module lets you adjust attack and sustain across frequency ranges.
Because each module has multiple character models, the same chain can produce very different results depending on the settings you choose.
