Step Sequencing for Guitar Chords and Strums
The patterns page works on 16 steps. For each step you decide whether a chord is triggered, which strings sound and whether the strum moves up or down. Each string can also be played on its own, which suits arpeggios and riffs.
The lower lanes define chord sequences. You pick a root note and one of 12 chord types, each available in three fingering variations, and use step-repeat for longer patterns. Up to 24 user chords can be built by clicking on the fretboard, including chords that are not possible on a real guitar.
An Animations page lets you move each mechanical finger up or down by one, two or three semitones per step, and the Action Section gives real-time control with loops, dead or damp notes and half-tempo playback.
