Groovemate One Loyalty Upgrade is a percussion virtual instrument plugin by UJAM that adds grooves, shakers, claps and tambourine to music productions. It is a crossgrade for owners of eligible paid UJAM products.
Groovemate One Loyalty Upgrade focuses on percussion for popular styles. It offers 30 styles, including combi and solo styles, with four sounds: shaker, claps, tambourine and a one-shot shaker. Presets are arranged so producers can pick a ready-made phrase and adjust it to their needs. The plugin is sold as a crossgrade, so it is aimed at existing UJAM users.
Groovemate One Loyalty Upgrade includes 30 styles, combining combi styles and solo styles. The four sounds are shaker, claps, tambourine and a one-shot shaker. Nine mix presets and four ambience presets shape how the percussion sits in a mix.
The developer describes the plugin as a way to add the groove that a track may be missing once bass, drums, melody and chords are in place. Percussion is positioned as the element that gives a track its feel.
Producers can select a ready-made phrase and adjust it, or play the contained instruments directly via MIDI input. MIDI drag and drop is supported, so phrases can be moved into a session.
The patterns are designed to stay in sync with the rest of the session. The developer notes that complex patterns, such as 3-over-4 rhythms and syncopations, can be loaded from presets instead of programmed by hand.
