Vintage Bass Tones for Soul, Pop, Blues and Rock

DANDY uses sampled flat-wound bass guitar sounds. UJAM's custom DSP algorithms push the raw sound from soft, round tones suited to old school soul and blues to brighter modern pop and rock sounds.

The plugin is also suggested as a layer for synth bass lines, where it can add more life and sophistication to an electronic part. Its tone is noticeably more understated than UJAM's ROYAL and ROWDY virtual bassists.

Player Mode and Instrument Mode Workflow

Player Mode plays 1380 phrases across 60 musical styles. Phrases can be strung together, and the plugin follows the key and chord you play while choosing articulations.

Instrument Mode gives full access to all articulations, including dead notes, full stops and slides, for players who want to record their own bass lines. Sound shaping options include a range of amps and effects, along with EQ and dynamics controls.
