GOTH: Heavy Metal Kontakt Instrument by Big Fish Audio

GOTH includes a range of multi-sampled guitars. Mono Lead Guitars sit alongside double-tracked Stereo Guitars, and the Power Chord Guitar patches switch between short muted chugs and sustained power chords based on how hard you play. A Metal Bass and several distorted basses cover the low end, and a Dark and Lo-Fi Acoustic Piano adds a contrasting tone.

The drum section is built around a 49-piece Monster Metal Drum Kit, giving a large palette of heavy kit sounds for aggressive rhythms.

The construction kit contains 20 Performance Multi patches. Each one holds five Kontakt Loop-Players for guitar, bass, drums, metal-style vocal effects, and sound design elements such as drones, atmospheres, industrial rhythm loops, impacts and risers.

All guitar and bass loops are written in the key of E, so loops from different Performance Kits can be mixed and matched. The TUNE button lets you lower loops to keys such as Eb, D and C, which are common in modern metal. The Slice Editor page lets you adjust the volume, pan, tuning or filtering of any slice in a loop.

Loop Kit patches add hundreds of industrial noise, guitar noise, bass noise and piano loops in several tempos, and the one-shot patches group vocal FX, drones and atmospheres by type.
