Cinematic Loops and Performance Kits

Epic is organized into 24 Performance Kits containing 1,711 loops and one-shots. Each kit combines loops, one-shots and cinematic elements, which makes it quicker to sketch Action, Suspense or Horror cues. The loops are named by tempo and mood, with tempos ranging from 80 to 175 bpm, so you can match a kit to the pacing of a scene.

All loops are mapped by pitch across the keyboard, from low to high. Big Fish Audio says this lets you play the drum sounds like a melodic instrument when writing fills and patterns.

Multi-Sampled Drums, Percussion and Sound Design

The library includes 58 multi-sampled drum and percussion instruments, including Chinese drums, taikos, African drums, frame drums, dumbeks, gongs, cymbals, quints and a set of five roto-toms. A 39-inch nagada drum from India is among the included instruments.

The 388 cinematic sound effects cover hits, impacts, metals, risers and whooshes. Kontakt's effects are available under the instrument's tool panel for shaping loops and sounds further.
