Filter Table: Wavetable-Powered Morphing Filter Plugin by Kilohearts Free Download

Filter Table lets you scan through the frames of a wavetable to shape how the filter behaves over time. A 3D graph shows the available frames in the loaded table, and you click and drag to change frame. A spectrum plot shows the selected frame as a filter response, so you can see how the shape of the filter changes as you move.

Resonance emphasizes or attenuates the peaks and troughs of that response. Kilohearts describes the result as morphing filter effects suited to wild basses, evolving synths and mutating drums.

Cutoff sets the frequency of the resulting filter. In Filter Table, cutoff refers to the frequency of harmonic 24 in the wavetable. You can keytrack it in any Snapin host by modulating it with the Note modulator at 100%.

The Mix control blends dry and wet signal. Depending on the phase mode, lower mix values can add phasing artefacts. The four phase modes are Minimum, which is tight with no latency; Linear, which adds latency but keeps all phases aligned with the input, useful for parallel processing; Original, which tries to preserve the wavetable's phase relationships and adds some latency; and Raw, which uses the selected frame as a filter kernel with minimal processing, which can produce unusual artefacts.
