Pultec-Inspired Sound and Signal Path

Kuassa says the EVE-MP5 is built around the signature frequency curves of the Pultec hardware it models. The developer highlights the low-end technique of boosting and cutting the same low frequency at once, which it presents as a way to tighten the bottom end.

The plugin also includes a saturation unit on the input path. Kuassa says it adds a hotter, mildly edgy character at lower settings and an overdriven sound when pushed further. An Auto switch in the input section is meant to keep gain steady while the saturation is increased with the input knob.
