Splitting the Signal Between Two Modulators
The crossover is the core of DuoFlux. It can divide the signal by Frequency, Volume, Stereo or Mid/Side, and each path is processed separately before the results are combined.
Mid/Side mode lets you keep the center focused while applying movement to the sides, for example a chorus on the sides with the mid channel left untouched. Left/Right mode sends one type of modulation to each channel for wide, extreme effects at the edges of the mix. In Left/Right mode the Width control is disabled to keep channel separation precise.
Quiet/Loud mode splits the audio at a loudness threshold set by the Crossover dial, so the two units can move the quiet and loud parts of a sound in different ways.
