Diva: Analogue-Modeling Virtual Synth by u-he Free Download

Diva's filter types each model a classic analogue hardware filter or pair of filters, including Ladder, Cascade, Multi-Mode and Bite. Two envelopes are provided, one for the output amplifier and one general-purpose, and several envelope models are available. The developer notes that amp and filter envelopes on the same synth often differ, and that this detail has been modeled as well.

The upper rack is modular. Oscillator, filter and amp/envelope models can be swapped freely, so any oscillator can be routed through any filter model and any amp/envelope model. The rack also offers highpass filter models placed before or after the main filter, and feedback from output to input.

Diva includes three analogue chorus units, two analogue phasers, a plate reverb, a stereo analogue delay and rotary speaker emulations. The two effect slots run in series, so two plate reverbs can be chained.

The modifier section provides modulation processors that can rectify, quantize, multiply, invert and lag modulation sources before they are applied. Several modulation destinations are available here that are not offered in the main panels, such as filter resonance and feedback. A built-in oscilloscope needs only frequency and scale controls.

Diva is Native Instruments NKS-ready and works with Maschine and Komplete Kontrol hardware. It is not a standalone product in the sense of running without a host; it loads inside a DAW.
