DelayGrain: Granular Delay and Texture Effect by Thenatan Audio

DelayGrain is most often described for its shimmer effect on pad sounds, especially when combined with its built-in delay. Thenatan Audio says the plugin can also add a tingling texture to plucked sounds such as bells and guitars, changing their tone without replacing the original source.

Pitch manipulation is central to the plugin's character. Setting the pitch to +12 adds a bright, sparkling layer over the incoming signal, which can revitalize loops that feel flat. The same tools can produce crackly or explosive textures from almost any signal, and can generate chords built from the input.

The plugin is aimed at sound designers, producers and audio engineers looking for an effect that goes beyond standard delay or reverb.
