01Overview

Bells is built for producers who want bell and melodic sounds without chopping sample libraries by hand. Four samplers each hold their own sample, with filters, reverse, pan, gain and tuning per layer. An XY pad lets you blend and browse the layers quickly. A built-in effects chain covers tremolo, EQ, reverb, delay, saturation and stereo widening, so most patches can be shaped inside the plugin.

Layered Sound Design With Four Samplers

Each of the four layers has its own sample, filter, reverse, pan, gain and tuning controls. A Pitch Designer adds vibrato and pitch envelopes to shape movement over time.

The XY pad lets you move between layers and blend them in real time, which makes it faster to audition variations than adjusting each layer separately. The mixer page shows the signal from each layer and includes real-time waveform views, so you can see what each sample contributes.

A glide control, velocity sensitivity and a transpose range of plus or minus 24 semitones give you control over how notes behave when played.

Effects and Use Cases for Bell Patches

The built-in effects include a tremolo, panner, compressor, 3-band EQ, reverb, delay, bit crusher, saturation, low-pass and high-pass filters and a stereo widener. These let you process layered patches without loading separate plugins.

The developer positions Bells for trap, chillhop, hip hop, lo-fi and other modern genres. The sample library is compressed to about 150 MB and includes 125 factory presets that can be shared as patches.
