01Overview

This product is an upgrade path for people who already own Camel Strip. It brings the V2 version of the channel strip, with a redesigned interface and a new preset system. Signal chain and processing controls

The preamp offers Trim, Pad and phase inversion at the front of the chain. The 3-band EQ includes a Mid Q control and gain on each band, along with Low and High cut filters for removing low-end buildup and unwanted highs.

The compressor has a dedicated Wild mode for more aggressive, saturated compression. A separate transient shaper lets you adjust attack. Per-section LEDs make it simple to switch each stage in and out and compare the result against the unprocessed signal.

Metering, level matching and workflow

A live spectrum analyser and gain-reduction meter show what the processing is doing in real time. Smart Gain and Link Gain help match levels between settings when comparing changes.

The plugin includes A/B comparison and a short-term LUFS readout, along with a new oversampling algorithm. The V2 interface uses a new preset system, so saved settings can be recalled across sessions.
