01Overview

Camel Strip V2 brings preamp, EQ, dynamics and transient shaping into a single channel strip. Its compressor includes a dedicated Wild mode for aggressive shaping, and a live spectrum analyser and gain-reduction metering show what each stage is doing. Per-section LEDs let you switch sections in and out to hear their effect on the signal. The plugin suits channels, groups and stems when you want to add grit and weight to a mix.

Sound Shaping and Dynamics in Camel Strip V2

The preamp offers Trim, Pad and phase invert, giving you control over input level and polarity before any processing. The 3-band EQ adds Mid Q and gain, along with Low and High cut filters for removing unwanted low-end buildup and top-end noise.

The compressor includes a dedicated Wild mode for more aggressive, colored compression. A gate and a transient shaper round out the dynamics section, letting you control attack and sustain on drums, bass and other percussive material.

Workflow, Metering and Level Matching

A live spectrum analyser and gain-reduction meter display what the plugin is doing in real time. Per-section LEDs make it easy to compare the processed and unprocessed signal by toggling individual stages on and off.

Smart Gain and Link Gain help with level matching so that you can compare settings fairly. An A/B compare function, a short-term LUFS readout and a new oversampling algorithm are included in this V2 release, which also features a redesigned interface and a new preset system.
