Dual-Stage Dynamics in Each Band
Each of the three bands has its own dual-stage dynamics processor. The Above stage handles signals that exceed its threshold, while the Below stage handles signals that fall under its threshold. Each stage can work as a compressor or, by setting Ratio values below 1:1, as an expander.
This gives detailed control over the level of a mix, stem or part, with each band reacting only to its own frequency range.
BLEASS also includes a soft clipping feature. It keeps overly hot signals from turning harsh and adds a valve-like saturation character when the signal runs hot.
