Sound, Articulations and Playing Positions

Each note is sampled with eight velocity layers and six round robins, so repeated notes avoid sounding identical. The instrument offers 21 playing positions on an adaptive fretboard, and the developer notes that the same pitch can sound different depending on where it is played.

Articulations include natural hammer-ons and pull-offs, releases and decays, and sampled slides. Five legato modes, including "always" and "off," let you control how legato behaves in a part.

Amp Simulation, Effects and Workflow

The amp section includes four amp and cabinet emulations with a choice of round, full vintage, or bright modern tone. A 4-band equalizer and pre-amp effects, including a compressor, phaser, overdrive, triggered wah and chorus, shape the sound before the amp stage.

Post-amp delay and reverb are included. MIDI controls cover velocity curve and depth, sustain and transpose, and an option forces E, A, D and G to play as open strings. The instrument is NKS-ready for Native Instruments Maschine and Komplete Kontrol.
