Oscillators, Wavetables and Tuning
The oscillators gain Multi and Quad modes, which go beyond standard stereo unison and detuning. Multi mode blends waveforms, and Quad mode enables live morphing between them.
The new wavetable editor lets you create and modify tables, and import your own WAV files. The update also adds options to auto-detect cycles, auto-map cycles to tables, transition parameters between tables, copy parameters to all tables and shift cycles.
For tuning, Babylon 2.2 offers scale and per-note microtonal options. Each note across 11 octaves can be tuned in cents, and the scale bank includes standard scales plus additional scales that use quarter tones.
