The plugin uses three channels, Raw, Vintage and Modern, and three types: Clean, Raw and Aggressive. Together they cover a broad range of gain levels. Sag and Bias controls on the power amp section let you shape how the power stage responds.
Low pass and high pass filters allow you to trim the frequency range of the amp before it reaches the cabinet stage, which helps keep high gain material tight and focused in a mix.
Amplifikation Rectifor includes five cabinet types with impulse responses taken from genuine Mesa-Boogie cabinets. You can choose from seven microphones, including the Shure SM57, Sennheiser MD421 and MD441, Shure KSM 353, Royer 121, AKG C414 and Neumann TLM103.
The dual-miking configuration can be set up freely in mono or stereo, with a mix option for blending the two positions, similar to a real guitar recording session. A built-in noise gate and limiter are also included, and the plugin supports up to 8x oversampling.
