Amp Types and Tone Character
Clarent A is described as thick and clean, and suited to playing through effect pedals. Clarent B is meaty and crunchy, with punchy, mid-forward distortion on channel 2. Clarent C is a modern high gain type that produces heavy distortion with long sustain.
Each amp includes a low gain and a high gain channel. The power amp section adds Sag and Bias controls, and low pass and high pass filters shape the tone further.
