Wavefolding and Wavetable Character
The shaper's Curve X control selects the family of curve, and Curve Y sets how sharply that family turns. Both axes interpolate, so positions between two curves produce different nonlinearities rather than a simple crossfade.
Fold Gain controls how far a full-scale signal sweeps across the wave. Below noon the signal is shaped; past noon it folds and generates harmonics. Fold Mix blends the shaped signal against the overdrive output, letting the transient come through while the fold fills in behind it. Rotate shifts where in the waveform the signal starts reading, which lands the fold on a different part of the curve and changes the harmonic content.
