FORZO Modern Brass is built around five traditional brass sections, including French horns, trumpets, trombones, tubas and a full 26-piece ensemble patch. The library contains 11,475 samples, 107 articulations and 237 snapshot presets. Heavyocity recorded the sections at Skywalker Sound, and the developer says the room's acoustic character is part of the sound. Composers working on orchestral or hybrid film and game scores will find sections, ensembles and rhythmic material in one instrument.
FORZO Modern Brass covers the full range of brass sections in one library. The French horn, trumpet, trombone and tuba sections each have their own instrument, and a Full Ensemble patch combines all 26 players playing together.
The library includes 107 articulations and 57 NKAs. Heavyocity describes creative techniques such as cluster bends and random flutters, which add movement to sustained and short notes alike.
The Hybrid Brass Designer and Brass Loop Designer give you tools to shape sound and rhythm. The library includes 432 tempo-synced loops, and the CYCLE page offers granular and rhythmic playback for more advanced sequences.
A MACRO knob lets you control several parameters at once, so you can shift the character of a patch during a performance or automation pass. The Intuitive Sample Browser helps you find sounds across the 237 snapshot presets.

FORZO Modern Brass requires Kontakt. It works with Kontakt 5 (Player) version 5.8 or later and is integrated with Komplete Kontrol.
The product supports Windows and macOS. The Windows version requires Windows 7, 8 or 10 with an Intel Core i5 or equivalent CPU and 2 GB RAM. The macOS version requires OS X 10.11 through macOS 10.13 with an i5 processor and 4 GB RAM.
The library is 25 GB uncompressed and 16 GB on disk with NI lossless compression. It is available as a direct download only. An internet connection is needed for download and activation, after which the product can be used offline.
