Sound Design and Sequencing Tools

Abx3 offers 32 oscillator shapes and a sub oscillator that can be set to sine or square. Eight distortion types let you push the bass from clean to aggressive.

The parameter sequencer controls speed and parameters independently, with sequencer speeds from /4 to x8 across several time divisions. Reverse MIDI functionality adds backward control for experimental patterns, and a pattern browser helps you switch between patterns and variations quickly. Random scale selection can be used to generate new melodic ideas.

Effects, Automation and Workflow

Three FX slots give you access to seven effects: Reverb, EchoVerb, SynthVerb, Stereo Chorus, Mono Chorus, 4Band-Fuzz and Flanger. Effect parameters can be automated through the parameter sequencer, so changes to the sound can follow the pattern.
