McDSP built the 6034 Ultimate Multi-band HD v7 around a four-band crossover, so each frequency range can be processed separately. The modules come from the 6050 Ultimate Channel Strip, and they can be swapped on the fly while keeping relative settings, which makes it quick to audition different dynamics approaches. Dynamics Control Across Four Bands

The plugin splits the signal into four bands through a configurable crossover. Each band has access to the compression, expansion and gating modules that McDSP carried over from the 6050 Ultimate Channel Strip.

The crossover filter slopes can be set to 6, 12 or 24 dB per octave, letting you choose how steeply neighboring bands separate. Gain reduction and output levels are metered on all crossover bands, along with the main input and output, so you can see what each range is doing.

Modules can be switched on the fly for quick auditioning, and relative settings are retained when you do so.
