808 Sub-Bass Patches Recreated From Hit Tracks
The 808 sub-bass is a central element of modern hip-hop and trap, and its character varies a lot from track to track. This pack gathers 17 patches designed to cover that range. Future Audio Workshop says the sounds were sound designed by Atlanta producer Ave Mcree, who recreated several 808s heard on releases by artists including DaBaby, Kendrick Lamar, Megan Thee Stallion and A$AP Ferg.
The patches are named after the source material, so you can browse by sound. Some are smooth and punchy, others are crunchy or buzzy, and the set includes both long pitch glides and short bumps. You can use a patch as it is or edit it in SubLab XL to match your key, tempo and mix.
