01Overview

Divine Bass II adds ten sub-bass and 808 patches to SubLab, the bass synthesizer from Future Audio Workshop. The patches were created by sound designer Sean Divine, who specializes in hip-hop, trap and future bass. Future Audio Workshop says he also consulted on SubLab's features during development and designed some of its factory sounds and samples. The pack is meant to give producers sub-bass sounds they can drop into a track without much editing.

Sub-Bass and 808 Character

The pack is built around low-end sounds for hip-hop, trap and future bass production. Each of the ten patches is a complete starting point rather than a raw waveform, so you can audition them quickly and reshape the ones that fit your track.

Because the patches are designed for SubLab's engine, they are meant to work as sub-bass layers and standalone 808s alike. Future Audio Workshop describes them as ready for use straight out of the box.

Patches and Workflow

Divine Bass II includes ten named patches: Clyde Glide, Crunch Time, Lean And Mean, Lucky 707, NoBudget, Off The Wall, SlippinSlide, TBottomRez, Tommy Knocker and Triad State. Each one loads directly into SubLab.

The patches are NKS ready, so they can be browsed and loaded from Native Instruments Maschine and Komplete Kontrol. Since the pack is an expansion for SubLab, you need a full copy of SubLab to use it.
