Richie Souf: Red is an expansion pack from Future Audio Workshop that adds nine 808 sub sounds to SubLab. The patches were created by Atlanta producer Richie Souf and are intended for use in hip-hop production. Each sound can be used directly in a track or edited to suit your own sound. The pack is delivered as a zip file from your FAW account and imported into SubLab by following the included instructions.

808 Sounds Designed for SubLab

The pack contains nine patches: 808 Coupe, 808 Neon, 808 Real ATL, 808 Red, 808 Rich!, 808 Skeleton, 808 VVS, 808 Eternal, and 808 Molly. Each one is built for SubLab's engine, so they load as native patches rather than samples.

The sounds are intended for bass and sub parts in hip-hop and trap-style production. You can use any patch as delivered or adjust its parameters to shape the tone, decay and character of the low end.

Future Audio Workshop notes that the patches are NKS ready for Maschine and Komplete Kontrol, which allows them to be browsed from those controllers.

Setup and Requirements

The sound pack requires a full copy of SubLab. Trial versions are not sufficient, and SubLab 1.1.1 or higher is needed to load the patches.

After purchase, the pack appears in your FAW account. Download the zip file and follow the import instructions to add the sounds to SubLab.
