Drum Sounds and Kit Contents

The pack covers the full kit. There are 4 kicks, 4 snares and 16 toms, each available processed and raw. The cymbal selection adds 4 hi-hats, 20 crashes and 4 rides, which are available in SSD only. Every sound is recorded by Patrick Carney, so the kits share one consistent character across the drum set.

The raw samples give you the option to build your own processing chain. The processed versions are ready to drop into a track with less setup, which suits producers who want a finished sound quickly.

Vintage Gear and Reverb

Steven Slate Drums describes the pack as featuring rare vintage drums, one-of-a-kind microphones and reverb plates. The developer names a 1961 Round Badge Gretsch and a 1970s Ludwig Vistalite among the drums used.

The pack includes the 1960s EMT 140 reverb plate, a classic studio reverb, so the room sound and space can be shaped with a well-known vintage effect.
